Logan Aquatic Center

 We finally made it the pool! It has taken most of the summer but we took Kira swimming one afternoon after work! Roger, Cass, Kira and I played in the water... pretended to be drowning so Kira would save us... or just splash around!

Happy Birthday, Gummy!

 It was Gummy's Birthday on Monday! It was a very low key birthday. We went to El Toro for dinner and then headed home for presents. I think I still owe her a cake! She got a really pretty vase and more SYTYCD DVD's!

Thanks Mom for all that you do, you are much appreciated!

"She said Yes"

So... Roger popped the question friday night! And I said "Yes!"

It was very sweet, I was very oblivious to what was happening and why the BBQ was such a big deal! Later on that evening he presented Kira with her own special ring, and asked her...

 and she said "Yes! Well at least until my own Gene (Eugene, from Tangled) comes!"

Palzas and Ochsenbeins!

 We have been planning a family BBQ for weeks and for some reason or another things have just not worked out! We were finally able to pick a day and let everyone know and of course it rains! So as plan D we ended up setting up the canopies in my back yard and just winging it!

 Kira had several new friends to play with and her play set was perfect for the occasion! I was able to meet Roger's Cousin Colt for the first time!

 Glad we were able to get everyone together!

Family, Fireworks, and Fun!

 We went to the stadium as planned! My Dad and Sister are always so great to go up early and get us good seats, right at the end of the feild right between the goal posts! Kira was enjoying herself, we had snow cones, music, and dancing!

ABBA was really pretty good too, although I did think it was strange that they had 9 albums but we only seemed to here a whole bunch of songs we didn't know! It was a long wait for the fireworks.

 The Fireworks  were just too much for Kira! She slept through the whole thing!

 The next morning we dropped Kira off with her Dad! She came out to Hyrum to visit mom and Roger later that day!

End of the Season!

 T-Ball is now over! I'm happy and sad. It was getting really hot in the afternoons, but sad because the kids were starting to get the hang of the game. Kira was able to hit the ball and knew she was supposed to run to the bases. She was a very distracted outfielder but would get the ball occasionally! It was more fun seeing her play with other little girl Olivia!

 Just ran home, and getting a high five from her coach, Jennifer!

 She unfortunately missed the ball on this swing but hit it quite a ways backwards as she got ready for the next swing!

Just one more year... and two more kids!

 Sarah and her cute family were able to visit again this year! With my new back yard all set up we had a BBQ at my house and got to see all her cute kids as well as have LeeAnne and her kids come too! It was nice catching up with Sarah and all that she has accomplished in her life, I don't get to see her nearly enough but I'm hoping the once a year tradition continues!

 

 We moved inside because it was feeling warm outside. LeeAnne's cute little Dylan!
