Nurses know how to Party!

Uncle Kevin just graduated from the Nursing program at Bridgerland. Jessica being the wonderful wife she is through him a huge party! It was great to get with Roger's family and party hardy.

Kira of course had a great time playing with her cousins.

 

Jessica had some really fun relay races and super cute gift bags and prizes. 

I am not sure if Roger had more fun seeing his family or playing with the puppy! Thats a tough one!

Swinging Good Time!

I have been very lucky this last year to make friends with the Oakeson Family! They are wonderful people, I love having Emma in my dance class. She is such a positive, hardworking, and wonderful young lady. I am grateful that Emma has made it possible for Rose and I to become such good friends. We had lunch with them at their house and then played on the swing. Kira loved getting makeovers done and playing on the swing!

Happy Daddy Day!

After a truly magical day at the princess festival, Kira got home to another wonderful surprise! A Date with Daddy Roger! I don't know who was more excited! Daddy Roger wrote her a letter which was on the table when we got home. I read the letter to Kira and she was so excited, she kept gasping and smiling with each sentence.
 Roger then knocked on the door and had flowers for her and then they both headed off for dinner. Which turned out to be McDonald's and then home to watch a movie. Sounds like my kind of evening!

To my Little Princess,
Get your best princess dress on, because I am taking you on a date! Be ready by 7:30 because your prince and chariot await. I look forward to spending the evening with just us two!

The next morning was off to breakfast! Angie's, Papa's favorite place!

Princess Festival

Kira had the wonderful opportunity of going to The Princess Festival! It was a really great time and she got to meet a variety of really neat characters and PRINCESSES!

They did a lot of fun activities!  They watched little plays about the Princesses of Everly, they each had a good lesson to learn. How a princess "never quits until the job is done" or "that a true princess always follows instructions".

They got to go on a quest with Princess Lilliana and listen to a story from Belle, Play games with Snow White, and put puzzles together with Rapunzel!

Kira then got to play games with Peter Pan, Wendy and the Twelve Dancing Princesses.

She then watched the princesses dance! (well sortof!)

They had cut outs and face painting and even popsicles because it was so hot. They did a really good job. Kira loved the whole experience. It is definitely something we will do again next year!
