Holiday Review

Kira has improved so much in dancing, she is a whole new dancer! She got to wear her Review Costume this year, which is blue! So ofcourse she loved it!

Each of the girls got to say their name in the microphone after they performed!  Some are really shy, but Kira was all over it! After each girl got a cute sparkly headband! Kira loves hers and wears it ALL the time!
Kira's cute class!
Kira and her amazing Teacher Natalie! Natalie has been Kira's teacher for three years now, not sure what dance would be like without her!

Cache Children's Choir Christmas Concert 2014

This years concert was very different from previous years! Kira's class didn't get to do as much singing as in previous years, but they did some other very fun activities. They did a couple folk dances, play some instruments as well as sing.

Kira was super excited because she go to be in the middle waving a scarf around!

While this year was a struggle, I do feel Kira did her best and that makes me very proud! After her concert we went to dinner at our favorite restaurant! It was a great evening!

Bridger Kindergarten Christmas Concert

I think one of the things I was most excited about when Kira started school was the School Christmas Concerts! I remember loving those as a kid and I was super excited to see Kira at her very first one! She did a great job! She was all in a flutter because she got to stand next to a little boy named Chase!

They recited a poem, than sang 9 songs with actions! They did an awesome job! Mrs. Packard's class were really loud singers! Kira's class was a lot quieter!
If you were unsure which one is Chase, Kira will help you out!

Ugly Sweater Party

Roger's Sister, Jessica plans the funnest parties! This year she planned an "Ugly Sweater Party"!
It was great to see what everyone found as their ugly sweater, although we had to tell Kira hers was beautiful, because she refused to have an "UGLY" sweater, because she is always beautiful! (No Ego There!)

We played games, ate some delicious soup, and watched the kids run around the house!

Dax had the funniest sweater ever! His had a zipper that started on his hood and went all the way down the back! It was definitely home made and adorable!

We all slept well after this fun party! Especially the Adults!

Getting Ready for Christmas

This year we decided to do a Rubber Duck Christmas Tree! Kira has quite the collection of Rubber ducks! She has all different kinds of ducks: Halloween, Christmas, Robot, Leprechaun, Easter, Monster, Alien, Farm Animal, Dinosaur, Patriotic, Regular, etc...

It turned out to be really cute and fun! Although we did hang all the ducks by their necks!
I love changing our tree every year! It makes Christmas exciting and different every year!

Kira Really got into decorating her tree this year! She made all her ornaments! Some our foam stickers, and some are out of those melted bead things, but most were made out of pipe cleaners. She had a blast both making the ornaments as well as  decorating her tree!

Thankful!

Somehow we totally missed Thanksgiving! It is truly the holiday we forget... or at least I forget to take pictures of! I would at least like to take this time to say what I am Thankful for!

My Family...
Through all of my trials they have been there for me!  I am grateful for all the help and great family memories. From when I was little and we would go out to eat every Saturday Night after Church (if we behaved!), To the Sunday Dinners at my house that included half the neighborhood and games after! Now they are passing those fun family memories and attitudes down to Kira and I am grateful for that.

My Friends...
I have been blessed with some amazing friends! I have had plenty of two-faced friends to know that these people are truly special! They accept me for me and don't ask for anything but a good time! We may not see each other for a long time, but we pick up right where we left off every time! Many friends not pictured here who I am grateful for also!

 Dance...
I started dancing when I was three. I had my years where it was just to pass the time, I didn't get serious until middle-school! But now it is a lifestyle! LaShars is my family! I know I wouldn't be the person I am now without their influence and love! Everyday I get to teach is one more day I get to continue living a childhood dream!

Kira...
The most wonderful thing to ever happen to me! She has been such a lifesaver for me. She takes care of my soul! And when I feel the world is crashing down around me, she is there to remind me to smile. She makes me laugh, cry, mad, crazy, frustrated, happy, spontaneous, proud, silly, and love more everyday!

Roger...
As a little girl you dream of a handsome prince! As you get older your dream is diminished by the Joe Shmoes, Spike Jones, and Crazy Eddies of the world. You start to believe that your expectations and reality are the dream and an unattainable one at that. I finally found my Prince! After many years of Frogs, I found that one guy who is handsome, kind, caring, understanding, funny, charming, chivalrous, helping, supportive, hardworking, grateful, and MINE! He not only loves me but loves Kira with all his heart! He is an amazing husband, father, and friend! I knew after a week, if he asked me to marry him I would say "yes." He is everything and more!
Good and Bad Times...
As I look at this list, I realize how I can buy none of it! I am grateful for all the experiences in life who have helped me become the person that I am. I am grateful for the hard times in life that teach you, that you are stronger than you think. As well as grateful for the happy times when they come around because it is all too soon gone away. To learn to find happiness even in the darkest moments.

I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving. I was truly Thankful for mine!
