Planetarium

Roger, Kira and I needed a little mini vacation so we went down to Salt Lake and visited the planetarium and the City Creek Mall!
Kira really liked the planetarium and all the cool activities they had to offer. Our favorite was the hot and cold or infrared camera!

Kira on Mars!

Now on the Moon!

The City Creek Mall was beautiful and really atmospheric. They had some fun fountain shows and Kira really liked the Disney Store!

Last day of OEK

Option for Extended Kindergarten

Kira has had extended or all day Kindergarten all year. She tested as being behind at the first of the year and had the option of extending her time. I am very pleased with how it has gone!

She has learned and improved so much this year and I feel that a great deal of that has to do with the extended day option.

Kira had a  wonderful teacher, Mrs. Beach and is now really ready for 1st Grade thanks to her help!

School Carnival

Kira's school put on a really great carnival for the kids to enjoy! I was super impressed. Unfortunately it was raining and all the festivities had to be moved inside. There were a whole bunch of bouncy houses and games and treats for the kids to enjoy. I got to meet Kira's friend McKayla for the first time. Here mother was super nice and the girls had a blast playing together!

Kira also got on stage and danced with her friend Abish!

Incidentally Roger and I won a nights stay at the Anniversary Inn from the school! We are super excited about using it!

Kira's Spring Singing Program

During the last week of school Kira had another singing program! She did awesome! She just loves when her family comes to watch her performances! She is such a ham. They ended up singing 5 songs and one involved a hat! I know she is super sad that the year is coming to an end!

T-Ball for another year!

Kira did an awesome job at T-ball this year! Her throwing, running, batting and fielding were much improved from last year! She had a blast each game! I love her throwing, it looks like she is shooting a bow and arrow every time, but at least she is trying and the ball is going further than a foot. She also learned to watch the batter and get ready for the ball to come to her, which she was much more aggressive this year and really tried to get the ball. There were several times I wasn't ready with my camera to catch her going after a ball!

Super Proud of all her hard work! Good Job Kira!
(Not sure why this one decided to publish where it did?)
