Festival of Trees 2014

Kira is starting to get excited for the Festival of Trees as much as I do! She knows she will get to see Santa and she really likes the Gingerbread Houses! This year Ariel wished us luck as we left for the day!

This year Kira saved up her money from her chores so we could go shopping at the Boutique at the festival. All the money goes to Primary Children's, so it is a perfect opportunity to not only support such a worthy cause, but to also have Kira learn the joys of giving! She bought gifts for Mom, Daddy Roger, Tia, Gummy, Papa, Daddy Andy, and Stacey and one toy for herself.
The Gingerbread houses were amazing as always! I can't believe the time and effort people put into these creations!

Kira had several favorites but ofcourse the creme-de-la-creme was the Frozen one! It was incredibly impressive, even the people were sculpted out of fondent!

My mom like the nativity!
I couldn't seem to get passed this huge Frosty the Snowman! Everything about him was candy! Someone even took the time to create little snowflake patterns with the candy in the white part of his body!
Kira loved the "Blue Go Aggies" display as well as the all girly pink one. Hmm... yup the two sides to my daughters personality!

As always Kira and I have to have our picture taken by the trees!
