Happy Birthday Eve!

Renee and Richie are such amazing party planners. This year they had a moon and space theme.

They had Bubbles to Catch...

 Face Painting...
 Meteor Marshmellow Shower...
 Paint your very own planet...

Going to Moon Story and Rocket Snack Time...

 and of course presents...

 and a MOON CAKE!
They managed to keep all those cute kids busy! Kira was very sad to leave!

Snow Day!

I haven't been able to get Kira and I out in the yard to play in the snow at all. So I decided we would try just after it dumped a whole bunch on us. Unfortunately it wasn't great snow, so it didn't want to pack very well. We ended up with a snow mound and the little spoons and cups I brought out to dig with ended up being our mound face!
Although we didn't get to play very long, I love Kira in her snow gear! Cutest little face ever!

Kira and Kendal!

For New Years, We once again drove down to Moab to see the family (or well in Kira's mind to see Kendal!) Kira and Kendal the cutest together. They seem to take turns and play really well together. I am so glad that they got to spend a lot of time together.

We have a very strange way of celebrating New Years lately, but I don't really mind. We are super busy all day, we had tacos for dinner, played games, played with the kids, and just laughed all evening. But at about 11:00 everyone leaves or gets ready for bed and it's a struggle to wait until Midnight to get our hurried "Happy New Years!" in before we all go to sleep.

Oh Well... Im sure it will be plenty exciting in future years!

What a Gift!

My tree this year!
This year the loot just seemed to keep piling up. I got a brand new camera! Which I was very excited about, but I needed to practice with it, cause my pictures kept being blurry. Gummy got a Nativity Scene and an Ipad Docking Station. Cass got New Boots and an Ipod. And Papa got food! He got some Bolivian spices and herbs. Gummy and I were just excited we found the place.

Now Kira was completely spoiled and as much as I would like to blame the Grandparents and Tia, Im pretty sure 90% of it was me. Kira got a "BIG GIRL" Bike from Santa for Christmas this year! She was so excited and had to ride it around the living room for a bit. Then she got princess and prince barbies, clothes, a leapster, books, and of course a lot more rubber ducks.

It was a long and eventful day, but it was definitely a Merry Christmas!
