We caught.... SOMETHING!

Leprechaun catching is difficult and tricky work! We decided to set up our trap in the hallway this year! So we decorated the mirror to make the Leprechaun feel more at home.

We made a trail of coins for him to follow to our trap!
We were so sure we were going to catch him this year!
But... the next morning told a different story! The leprechaun made a huge mess of the house turning chairs, tables, and pictures over.
Drawing silly faces on the mirror ...
coloring on Kira's nose...
And leaving poor Ariel hog-tied in the trap.
Kira was very concerned about how her Christmas elf got trapped by the leprechauns! Good thing Kira was there to save her!
Happy St. Patricks Day... Especially to all Elves!

Go Aggies!

Going to the Gymnastic's Meets have been a tradition since I was a little girl and I love that I now get to share that with Kira! She likes to watch the "Dancing" but gets bored with the beam. She is getting to be so brave, and go up and say Hi to Big Blue all by herself!
Afterward we go to Aggie Ice-cream so Kira can get her "Blue Go Aggies" Ice-cream! Maybe someday it can be four generations sharing in the same tradition!

Out on Safari!

As most people know me, Camping is not really my thing! I don't mind sleeping on the ground (although my back is not really happy about that either anymore) its not having the availability of a bathroom that really bothers me!

Camp Outs in the living room are a perfect compromise! We strung some curtains from the ceiling and made a bed out of the couch cushions! It was a blast!
Kira loved being able to watch a movie and cuddle with Roger and Me! We left it up for a week although Roger and I opted not to sleep there again.

My Valentines!

I am not a fan of Valentine's Day! I really never have been overly excited about the day! It has always seemed to be more work than it's worth, either a reminder that you don't have someone special in your life, a reminder that you need to get something special for that special someone, or as a kid the worry of who you would be partnered with at the Valentine's Tea!

Well Roger is certainly a welcome reprieve from all that. He very sweetly made a path a signs that read... "I worship the ground you walk on..." all the way into the bathroom (weird sounding I know) "and shower you with kisses!"
He also gave Kira a HUGE Teddy Bear which she is happy to cuddle with every night! I gave Kira face tattoos! It was a great day, considering it was Valentines!

And Then there were THREE!

Roger and I got married on
February 1st, 2014!
Kira and I added another member to our family... Roger Lee Ochsenbein! He is an amazing man and I am so grateful that I now have the privilege to call him "My Husband".
Kira looked beautiful in a cream dress with flowers on the front.  She carried a sign down the aisle!
 Me and my Dad!

 "You may Kiss the Bride"
 One Happy Family!
Kira ofcourse had to be involved in all the procedings!
Cutting the Cake!

After that display from her parents, Kira seriously questioned her piece of cake!
Our First Dance to "So Close"
"Me Too, Me Too" came a little voice at our side!

Roger's Step Dad Bill, Me, Roger, and Roger's Mom Brenda
Roger's Step Mom Jerri, Roger, Me, and Roger's Dad Randy
My Dad Dennis, Me, Kira, Roger, and My Mom Dana

So excited for our future!
It couldn't have been a more perfect evening! Special Thanks to all those that made it happen! My Aunt Kari who helped clean-up, Natalie and Kylie for the BEAUTIFUL photos, and our families who helped make the evening possible!
