Chores and Makeovers!

Kira has learned the value of money lately! It has been a very funny thing because she is now begging to go home and do chores so that she can go to the store. Recently she had her sight set on getting some "Makeovers" I wasn't sure exactly what that was but I knew it was going to be more than her usual dollar! So she worked very hard over the next two days to do as many chores as she could so she could get money to go to the store!

Finally she had enough and we walked down to the Island Market to get her "Makeovers"! Much to my chagrin it was a kids make-up set. I ofcourse let her buy it because she had worked very hard for it. She promptly gave mom a real makeover, don't we look beautiful!

Pattern Party!

Kira had a Pattern Party at school! It was just a fun evening for the families and teachers to get together and play with the kids! It was very exciting because Kira's Dads were able to come! Daddy Roger and her Dad! She was able to show us all the fun things she gets to do every day!

Kira was encouraged to dress in as many patterns as she could find... which she did!
She painted and colored, played in the dramatic play area and with the water table!

It was a very busy but fun evening!

Market Monster Mash

The last of the Market was a fun party for us! The vendors were encouraged to have candy for trick-or-treating! So Kira and I dressed up as Pirates for the day and went to each booth for her booty! She was also a great little helper all day giving out candy to other kids who were trick-or-treating.
It was such a fun day for kids! Not only could you trick-or-treat but there was face painting, a magic show, pumpkin painting and ofcourse playing with friends!

A Plethora of Pumpkins!

It's that time of the year again and Gummy went a little crazy with the pumpkins! Kira had sooooo many pumpkins to decorate that she was very tired by the time we were done!

Kira and Gummy and the whole Pumpkin Patch!

Kira's cute Family of Pumpkins!

Can't you see the resemblance!

Then she made two pumpkins with Tia!
It was definitely a lot of pumpkins but a lot of fun too!

Maisie and Kira

A new year of school has started and so has the opportunity to meet friends. Kira and I have had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Maisie! Her mother, Marina, contacted me about car pooling and it has been a wonderful thing.

We were able to pick Maisie up early last week and go for a small picnic at the mall (it was cold outside) and then go to the play area before we headed up to school!

They are very sweet friends and I am grateful Kira and I were able to get to know such a sweet family!

CCC Ice Cream Social

Kira has had the wonderful opportunity of being involved in the Cache Children's Choir.  We sing a song every night, so this is every added bonus every week. Her teacher is Miss Jenna and she has loved every minute of it.

At the social she met a new friend, Jonah! He is in her singing class but until that day hadn't really been friends. Now they are practically inseparable. Daddy Roger is already very worried!
