Kira's Crazy Family and the Lights!

We didn't make it to the lights last year and was sad about it. So this year I was determined! Apparently Determined and Crazy go hand-in-hand!
Finding a night when everyone didn't have to work and it wasn't storming was a process, so instead we chose one of the coldest nights of the year!
We were freezing! But we go on the trailer and rode around looking at all the fun light displays! Maybe next year we will just for driving around in our car.

Looks like fun right!
After a fun and freezing ride around the lights we went into a little bungalow to get warm, eat treats and talk to Santa Again! Don't want him forgetting what he is supposed to bringing for Christmas!

Festival of Trees, 2013

Having gone to the Festival of Trees for more years than I can count I am always really happy to be able to share this with Kira!  The Dancing has become secondary to the overall family experience!

As usual the trees and ginger bread houses are amazing!

But Kira was way more excited to go play in the kids area! She went Fishing...

 Got a face tattoo...
 and decorated a Christmas tree!
She also got a special Hat made by Santa's Brother!

She also got to go sit on Santa's lap and tell him all about the things she wants for Christmas and what good girl she has been!
Once again it was an amazing day!

Ariel is Back!

Kira's Elf Ariel finally came back! It has been a long year since we saw her.  So this the story of the exploits of Kira and Ariel the Elf!

On November 30th we made a sign for Ariel to welcome her back after a long year at the North Pole!
She was happy to be home too and here it begins!

Gummy gave Kira a special Book all about the Elves of the North Pole!

Ariel is a very helpful but clumsy elf. So helping Mom hang the stockings didn't go so well for Ariel!
Nor did the lights!
Or hanging up the window stickers!

After her hard work she definitely likes to be a clean Elf!

But has a knack for practical Jokes! Painted Kira and I's nose Red!

Ariel seems to get herself stuck in the strangest of places!

She really misses Kira when she spends the night at her dads!
But everyone made a new friend in the process! Everyone Meet Calvin the resident Elf at Kira's Dads!
After so much hard work she is need of a good long nap!
While still remembering to have time to Celebrate Baby Jesus' Birthday!

Glad you came to visit us again Ariel! Can't wait to see you again next year!

Park City Fun!

I love the Holidays because it is an excuse to spend time with all your family! Kira made a new friend in her Uncle Hideo. They were pretty much inseparable the whole evening!

Jeanine and Lamont were gracious enough to invite everyone to their home this year. It is beautiful! It was a wonderful evening. We ate, talked, laughed and ofcourse Danced! Jeanine cooked an amazing spread that include some of the most delicious brussel sprouts! Weird, but I am now a fan of brussel sprouts and I never thought I would say that!
Really an amazing group of people, whom I am lucky enough to call Family!

Evergreen Trees!

Every Year, we make ginger bread.... somethings! We were ambitious the first few years and made houses! Now we have all wised up and make trees! So this year we had a forest of Ginger Bread Trees! They all turned out quite cute!

Kira insisted on posing with her Ginger Bread Tree next to the Christmas Tree!

Our cute family and our forest of Trees!
