Happy Birthday Roger!

For Roger's Birthday we decided to drive down to SLC saturday night and stay in a hotel. It was a calm night watching Ice Age and eating cake.

 

 We got up the next morning a went swimming in the pool for a little bit then got ready for the Zoo!

 

Kira ofcourse loves the zoo! They are doing a lot of remodeling but it was great to see the new polar bear, seals, and otters.

We also saw a whole variety of other animals. It was super warm this weekend so a lot of animals were napping.

Ofcourse Kira's all time favorite part was the Carousel! She ended up riding it twice. We were able to do all this Thanks to Kira's Uncle Bubba! He even got her a monkey which never left her side all day!

 Thanks again Bubba! We all had such a great day!

All the Baby Animals!

 This Baby Animal Days was a bit rainy and cold but we were there anyways! Kira loves to see the animals and was so excited about seeing the horses that we ran over there very first!

 She then saw the pony ride and wanted to ride one. She loved the ponies last year so I thought she would again this year, not so. She thought they were scary and didn't want to smile for any pictures!

 We then met up with Wendy and her family! Kira liked to pet the animals as long as someone else was holding them!

 She did end up holding a chick and loved it, but quickly put it back because it was wiggley.

 Makenna was really the reason Kira wanted to go see the animals at all! They were pretty much inseparable once they got together.

 And ofcourse riding the train! They were so excited to ride the train they left the group and ran ahead to get in line and were ecstatic when they got to sit in the very front!

Too Sweet!

 Kira and I have been lucky enough to have Roger come into our lives! He is too sweet! He brings such a calm and happy feeling to our house! He not only does sweet and wonderful things for me (like bringing me roses on a random Monday!) He paints Kira's finger nails, plays games with her, dances in the living room, plays dress-up, plays the girl Barbie so Kira can be the boys and helps with bedtime every night!

He has been such a great and helpful addition to our family!

The Jump Zone!

 During Spring Break! It worked out that Roger and I were able to take Kira to the Jump Zone! I had never been before, but Roger and Kira were pros! It is a really fun place that has a whole bunch of trampolines and foam pits to jump into. Kira loved the pits full of foam. She waded through them a bunch of times. I just got stuck and had to have help getting out. It was a blast none the less and we will be going back soon!

Christmas in Spring

Otherwise known as Easter! Kira gets sooo many presents for Easter every year it might as well be a second Christmas. She got a new book, ball, legos, Ironman hand sanitizer, duckies, play-dough, chapstick, and clothes, including a new Easter Dress!

Kira's favorite gift was a new castle tent! She loved it. She kept hoarding all her toys in it, and pretended she was rapunzel up in her tower!

After she got done admiring all the fun new stuff she got we went outside for an Easter Egg hunt! Kira loved it, everytime she found an egg she got excited and had us come look! We could have watched her find eggs all day!

We then got out the bubbles and chalk! Kira liked her new wand a lot because she didn't have to blow! She would dance around waving her bubble wand.

It was definitely a Happy Easter!
