"Angels"

Because of recent events, I feel we all have taken a look inward, counted our many blessings and hugged our children extra tightly.

I am so grateful for all my blessings and wish everyone this holiday season to remember their many blessings and be thankful for not only their gifts under the tree but the many that just don't fit!


"Angels"

Today, is a day when the world stood still,
I couldn't catch my breath, NO! it can't be real!
I cried for those whom I new would be hurting,
I cried for myself, my family, my little friend ring.
How could this happen, again and again
At Christmas of all times, I can't handle the strain.
While I cried, and pitied all those who are here
I know there is one who will be of good cheer.
The one who will comfort all those affected,
the one who will care for all the dejected.
God, received a few more Angels today.
How blessed he must feel, how happy, how gay.
So to all of his Angels, who just got their wings
To all of the people who receive his blessings
Remember today, when the world caught its breath
that God just received the ultimate gift.
