The 12 days of Christmas has been a tradition since I was really small! Instead of having a stocking from Santa we did the 12 days.
They are generally smaller gifts that gradually get bigger as we get
closer to Christmas. We also start on December 12th and go everyday up
until the 23rd!
This year however we had to start on the 1st because we
all had so much going on that to find 12 nights in December when we all
could be there was hard!
We like to read a couple Christmas stories then open gifts! Now that
Kira is learning to read she loves to sit with whom ever is reading and
not only look at the pictures but look at the words too!
