Kira goes to Kindergarten!

Kira has started Kindergarten!
I still am in a little bit of shock that it has come so quickly. Because of where Kira's birthday is I have been debating long and hard about when to start her in school! We decided that this was the year, even though she is the youngest I feel she is super ready to go to Kindergarten!

First, we got to go to the school to check which time and teacher she had. She is in the afternoon with Mrs. Hadfield!

Then it was back to school night, where she got to meet her teacher and see the school. She had been going to Prekindergarten she already knew what to do, but it was still nice to go and see who would be in her class. Before we left to go to back to school night, I got her a brand new outfit for the first day of school!

She had a classroom scavenger hunt there and once completed she got a treat!

The next morning we were sooooo excited that she was ready 15 minutes early! She got a brand new backpack with lunchbox too and of course it was princesses!

Sassy little girl!
Everyone was there to support her at her first day of school!

She had such a great time and is super excited about school everyday! I still can't believe she is in Kindergarten! I was strong all day, until the end when I bawled like a baby!

Aquarium

First off I would like to start by thanking all my wonderful friends for taking pictures. As they know My camera died the second we got there, so I bought a disposable but I haven't got the pictures back from it yet.

Going to the Aquarium was a blast! We had bounce back passes since we went in April. Kira and I met up with Wendy, Aja, and LeeAnne and of course all their wonderful kids. We were quite the group! There were 15 of us total and 11 were children! My friends are such wonderful mothers! You can see it in everything they do!

The kids loved the Aquarium! They liked the rope bridge, the penguins, the sharks mouth, the sharks and otters, but their all time favorite part of the day... was playing on the plastic whales! Go figure!

These two were not mobile, so at least we could keep track of two kids all day!
The other nine kids in one spot! Only time it happened all day!
Thanks Girls for such a wonderful day!

Ogden Temple and Children's Museum

Wendy was nice enough to invite Kira and I to go to the Ogden Temple with them. I am really fascinated with the structure of the temples and process of how they are built. They are incredibly beautiful, Kira calls them castles!

We were also incredibly lucky, they were have a Kindergarten Readiness Carnival right outside the Children's Museum next to the temple. They had a lot of fun activities, games, animals, and crafts. Not only was there a carnival but the Museum was free! The kids were super excited to get an opportunity to play there, it is probably one of Kira's favorite places!
They played in a lot of different areas this time. They played in the Japanese House!

Made not one arch, but two! The assistants were really great to play with the kids and help them with their activities.

As usual they love the Knights and Stage section. We were there for quite a long time!

As always I am so grateful to my wonderful friend and her family!

Cache County Fair

Kira is super lucky to have so many people who love her! This year we were able to go to the fair with Kira's cousin Lexi! Lexi i a lot older than Kira but was really great about going on the little kid rides with her, since Kira couldn't go on any of the big ones yet. Lexi was able to go on a few of the big rides with Roger and Her Mom. I am glad that I got to spend this time with them, we don't have nearly enough opportunities to spend time with Roger's family!

The little boy wouldn't let the girls spin the dragon... it was pretty funny from an outside perspective!

A great end to a fun day!
Thanks Jill, Jeremy, Lexi and Dax for coming to the fair with us, We had a blast!
